Justice holds her scales in perfect equilibrium, reminding us that truth, fairness, and accountability are not abstract ideals but living forces that shape our reality. This card represents the principle of cause and effect — every action has consequences, and integrity demands that we face them honestly. When Justice appears, you are called to radical honesty with yourself and others.

Reversed, Justice warns of dishonesty, unfairness, or the avoidance of accountability. Legal matters may not resolve in your favor. You may be rationalizing behavior you know to be wrong, or you may be the victim of someone else's injustice. The invitation is to examine where truth is being distorted.

In relationships, Justice asks for fairness, equality, and honest communication. Power imbalances, unresolved grievances, or avoided truths will surface now. Healthy love requires the courage to be truthful even when it is uncomfortable.

Justice reflects Jung's concept of enantiodromia — the tendency of any extreme position to eventually transform into its opposite. The psyche, like Justice's scales, is always seeking balance. When we lean too far in one direction, the unconscious compensates. Justice reminds us that psychological wholeness requires accepting both sides of every truth.
